Etymology. The specific name is a noun in apposition derived from the type locality.

Diagnosis. Both sexes resemble the similar congeners N. sublaevis , N. meridionalis and N. minas , which have a similar abdominal pattern as in figure 6I and the posterior unpaired claws small ( Fig. 5C View FIGURE 5 ), but can be distinguished by the PLS of equal size as PMS.

Description. Male (holotype): Carapace orange ( Fig. 67A View FIGURE 67 ). Chelicerae, labium, and legs yellowish orange, coxae and trochanters lighter. Endites and sternum yellowish orange. Abdomen light gray, dorsal pattern as in figure 6I, lighter ventrally. Anal tubercle and spinnerets light gray. Total length 8.9. Carapace 5.3 long, 3.25 wide. Sternum 4.7 long, 3.0 wide. Leg measurements: I: 3.8; II: 3.75; III: 3.3; IV: 3.95. Posterior unpaired claws small, as in other three‒clawed spiders ( Figs 5C View FIGURE 5 ). PLS of equal size as PMS. Palp with straight embolus, shorter than palpal tibia ( Figs 67B‒D View FIGURE 67 ; 68E); embolar tip with a wide cut on prolateral side and two short extensions ( Fig. 68G‒H View FIGURE 68 ).

Female (paratype): Carapace, chelicerae, labium, coxae, legs, endites and sternum as in male. Abdomen as in male ( Fig. 67E View FIGURE 67 ). Anal tubercle and spinnerets whitish yellow. Total length 9.2. Carapace 5.5 long, 3.35 wide. Sternum 4.9 long, 3.4 wide. Leg measurements: I: 3.9; II: 3.8; III: 3.5; IV: 4.05. Posterior unpaired claws and PLS as in male. External genital area with weakly sclerotized anterior plate, strongly sclerotized lep and remarkable ess ( Fig. 67F View FIGURE 67 ). Internal genitalia without invagination on receptaculum and uterus externus with narrow base ( Figs 67G View FIGURE 67 ; 68J‒L).

Distribution. Known from the Brazilian States of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul ( Fig. 69A View FIGURE 69 ).
