The syntypes are stored in the Croatian Natural History Museum, Zagreb; no number indicated (Milan et al. 1974: 99).

Remarks.

Junior homonym of Melanopsis boettgeri Klika, 1891. Pallary (1920b) introduced Melanopsis delicata as replacement name.
