Neotype (Townsend in Hooker’s Icon. Pl. 40(1-3): 37. 1986): [icon] "Ruta foliis simplicibus alternis" in Gmelin, Fl. Sibirica 4: 176, t. 68, f. 1. 1769.

Current name: Haplophyllum dauricum (L.) G. Don ( Rutaceae ).

Note: Townsend treated an uncited Gmelin plate as an “isolectotype” as he had failed to locate any Gmelin material. In the absence of any original material, Townsend s choice is treated as a neotypification under Art. 9.8.
