DIAGNOSIS: This species differs from E. dossei by having setae j4­J2, z5, Z1, Z4, S2­ S5, r3 and R1 longer and Z5, s4, and most macrosetae shorter. This new species further differs from E. dossei by having leg macrosetae sharp­ to blunt­tipped and long peritreme, reaching anterior to seta j1.

FEMALE (9 specimens).

Dorsum ­ Dorsal shield with striae along lateral margins, 336(325­345) long and 236(234­239) wide. Setae j1 31(28­33), j3 35(32­40), j4 13(11­14), j5 13(12­14), j6 18(16­ 20), J2 22(18­25), J5 8, z2 25(21­30), z4 31(23­ 39), z5 14(13­16), Z1 21(17­ 26), Z4 27(24­29), Z5 62(60­63), s4 41(35­48), S2 35(30­38), S4 42(35­49), S5 41(39­42), r3 22(21­23), R1 17(16­19). Dorsal setae smooth, except Z5 which are serrate.

Peritreme ­ Reaching anterior to seta j1.

Venter ­ Sternal shield with a few striae; other shields smooth. Distances between ST1­ ST3 58(57­58), ST2­ST2 70(67­72)and ST5­ST5 73(71­74). With 2 pairs of metapodal shields close together on each side. Ventrianal shield 107(104­109) long, 52(47­54) wide at ZV2 level and 70(66­73) wide at anus level.

Chelicera ­ Movable digit 24(23­25) long, with 1 tooth; fixed digit 23(22­23) long, with 4­5 teeth.

Spermatheca ­ Calyx trumpet­shaped, 22(22­23) long; atrium distinct.

Legs ­ Macrosetae of legs II­III sharp­tipped and macrosetae of leg IV with blunt, hyaline tips: SgeII 19(17­20), SgeIII 21(18­23), StiIII 24(23­24), SgeIV 40(39­41), StiIV 36(35­38), StIV 60(58­61).

MALE (4 specimens).

Dorsum ­ Dorsal shield with striae along lateral margins, 491(470­525) long and 192(183­208) wide. Setae j1, j3 29(28­29), j4 11(11­12), j5 12(11­13), j6 13(12­15), J2 16(14­18), J5 6(5­7), z2 19(17­22), z4 25(23­28), z5 11(11­12), Z1 16(15­17), Z4 21(18­ 23), Z5 45(43­46), s4 32(31­35), S2 27(25­28), S4 31(29­32), S5 31(30­33), r3 20(18­21), R1 17(15­18). All setae smooth, except Z5 which are serrate.

Peritreme ­ Reaching level of z2.

Venter ­ Ventrianal shield 94(89­99) long, 57(55­60) wide at anterior corners.

Chelicera ­ Movable digit 20(20­21) long; fixed digit 19(19­20). Shaft 30 long.

Legs ­ Macrosetae only distinguishable on leg IV, with blunt, hyaline tips: SgeIV 27(25­28), StiIV 29(27­30), StIV 45(41­48).
