Distribution: PE to SC to MO to MN. Kentucky collections were from the eastern third of the state (Map 016).

Months: June (14), July (1), August (9)

Collections (7 records, 10 specimens): EGCCRC (10)

Collection methods: Malaise trap (12)

Larval host plants: Acer rubrum , Aesculus glabra , Carya glabra , Cornus florida , Hamamelis virginiana , Juglans spp. , Quercus spp. , Rhus spp. and Tilia americana ( Monné & Nearns 2022d)

Chemical lures: (E / Z)-fuscumol + acetate ( Hanks & Millar 2013); (S)-sulcatol ( Meier et al. 2019)

Comments: Attracted to lights. While Hanks and Millar (2013) report (E / Z)-fuscumol + acetate as an attractant, no Kentucky specimens were collected this way even though this lure has been frequently used in Kentucky.
