Description, female. Body length 4.54 mm. Wings subhyaline; metasoma dark castaneous. Head wide. Mandible with five distal teeth, wide, slightly angled, step-shaped, teeth not equally sized each other. Median clypeal lobe rounded, very short, with apical margin truncate; median clypeal carina angled in lateral profile and hardly distinct from clypeus. With frontal process; antennal scrobe ecarinate. Eye large; circumocular suture present. Frontal angle of ocellae forming right angle; ocelli very small. Vertex strongly convex. Pronotal disc as long as wide, with margin of transverse pronotal carina and series of foveae posteriorly followed by large foveae and with median sulcus; transverse pronotal carina complete; posterior margin with posterior pronotal sulcus. Notaulus wide. Mesoscutellar disc with mesoscutellar sulcus narrow; posterior mesoscutellar sulcus present. Metapectal-propodeal disc long; metapostnotal median carina complete; longitudinal ridges present; metapostnotal-propodeal suture fused with first metapostnotal carina; paraspiracular carina present and conspicuous; metapleural carina present and conspicuous; metapectal-propodeal disc with short striae; propodeal declivity strigate. Mesopleuron with anterior fovea closed; mesopleural fovea closed; lower fovea divided; posterior fovea absent; mesopleural suture closed. Forewing with stigma developed; Rs&M vein distinguished. Mesotibia not spinose; claws trifid. Metasomal segments sparsely setose. Genitalia. T9 with anterior arm long and overlapping 2vf; 1vv as long as genitalia body; 2vv shorter than 1vv length, abruptly narrowing apicad; 3vv short; 1vf slightly curved forward; 2vf slender and with dorsal lap strongly swollen posteriorly; 1rv not curved, ventral process large, and posterior process short; 2rv strongly curved forward.

Distribution. Brazil: Amazonas.

Remarks. This new species differs from A. nigripes Evans, 1966 by having the body green metallic with blueish reflections; the mandible wide apically and angulate; the clypeus with the apical margin truncate and with two emarginations; the antennal scrobe ecarinate; the circumocular suture present; and the pronotal disc with its transverse pronotal carina followed by a series of carinae, with a median pronotal line, and with the posterior pronotal sulcus distinctly wide, whereas A. nigripes has dark green reflection and the metapectal-propodeal disc black; the mandible narrow, slightly angled, and with the lower tooth longer than the others; the clypeus with the median lobe rounded, short, and with an apical median tooth; the antennal scrobe carinate; the circumocular suture absent; and the pronotal disc without a transverse pronotal carina followed by a series of carinae, without a median pronotal line, and with the posterior pronotal sulcus narrow.
