FEMALE (Specimens measured – Uganda: 1, Zaire: 1).

Dorsum ­ Dorsal shield imbricate, 344(329­360) and 221(206­235) wide. Setae j1 24(21­27), j3 15(14­16), j4 10, j5 9(8­10), j6 11, J2 14(13­14), J5 7(6­8), z2 11(10­13), z4 12(11­13), z5 10, Z1 10(10­11), Z4 12(11­13), Z5 41(37­45), s4 18(16­21), S2 12(11­ 13), S4 and S5 11, r3 14, R1 11. All setae smooth, except Z5 which are serrate.

Peritreme ­ Almost reaching level of z2.

Venter ­ All ventral shields smooth. Distances between ST1­ST3 62, ST2­ST2 68(67­ 69), ST5­ST5 76(74­78). With 2 pairs of metapodal shields. Ventrianal shield 100(96­104) long, 50 wide at ZV2 level and 60(58­62) wide at anus level.

Spermatheca ­ Calyx, 30(29­32) long, filamentous; atrium barely distinguishable.

Legs ­ Macrosetae knobbed: SgeI 18(18­19), SgeII 21(19­22), SgeIII 27(22­32), StiIII 18(18­19), SgeIV 39(34­45), StiIV 24(22­26), StIV 41(37­45).

SPECIMENS EXAMINED: Uganda: Kabarole, on Manihot esculenta , 08­X­1990, E. Karamura. Zaire: 16 km W. Matadi, Bas­Zaire, on Manihot esculenta , 10­VII­1991, H. Tata.
