Distribution: Kashmir ( Moore, 1874; Seitz, 1908-A; Antram, 1924; Gasse, 2018); Goolmurg ( Lang, 1868); Zojila pass, Ganderbal district (Anonymous, 2020-E2).

(b) ssp. garuna (Fruhstorfer, 1911)

Distribution: Kashmir ( Evans, 1927; Talbot 1947; Varshney & Smetacek, 2015); Kashmir, Goorais valley ( D’Abrera, 1990); Sonamarg ( Tshikolovets, 2005); NE Kashmir ( Gasse, 2018); Gurais, Bandipora district; Gulmarg, Baramula district (Anonymous, 2020-F); BGSBU, Rajouri district (Taslima Sheikh, Recent record).
