( Figs 13A–D View FIGURE 13 )

Material examined. Holotype: 1♂, China, Xizang Province, Renqingbenglukou , 29°19’51.6’’ N, 95°14’16.8’’ E, 1049 m a.s.l., 1.VI.2019, leg. Qicheng Yang [ ZAFUXZ272 ]. GoogleMaps

Description. Male. Head ( Fig. 13A View FIGURE 13 ). Head and antenna light brown, maxillary palpus light brown. Eye bridge broad, with 4–5 rows of facets. Face with 5–6 setae. Maxillary palpus with three segments, basal segment with four setae, with an indistinct sensory fossa; 2nd segment with five setae; 3rd segment long with six setae ( Fig. 13A View FIGURE 13 ). Fourth antennal flagellomere much longer than wide, length/width = 2.65, body with mostly short setae and with a row of distinctly elongated setae near the neck ( Fig. 13C View FIGURE 13 ). Wing with anterior veins slightly darker than posterior veins, membrane without macrotrichia. M1, M2, CuA1, CuA2, r-m with no setae. stM faintly visible in the specimen. Legs stramineous. Apex of fore tibia with a short comb-like row of setae. Tarsal claws three-toothed. Hypopygium ( Figs 13C–D View FIGURE 13 ) yellowish brown. The gonocoxae almost as long as gonostyli, outer and inner margins sparsely setose, ventral medial margin with two groups of weak setae. The gonostylus ( Figs 13C–D View FIGURE 13 ) stout, with two megasetae of almost equal length; one on dorsal side at the apical third and the other on ventral side near the middle, apex with dense short setosity. Tegmen membranous, wider than high, apically rounded. Aedeagus dark brown, slender ( Fig. 13C View FIGURE 13 ).

Etymology. The species epithet ‘ yangi ’ refers to Qicheng Yang, who collected the type specimen.

Remarks. The new species can easily be distinguished from other closely related species of the subgenus by the typical gonostylus with two megasetae of almost equal length; one on the dorsal side at the apical third and the other on the ventral side near the middle ( Figs 13C–D View FIGURE 13 ). In addition, the holotype of this species is in poor condition (especially wings and legs), and all possible diagnostic characters were carefully examined, and their images were added to the figure plate for visual evidence.

Distribution. China: Xizang (this study).
