Description. Body brown, transverse band on vertex across eyes discontinuous in middle reddish-orange, anterior part of vertex grey-brown, rest of vertex yellow (Fig. 19). Frons white (Fig. 21), with two black spots near eyes (Fig. 20), frontoclypeus, anteclypeus and lorum brown, gena white (Fig. 21). Sides of pronotum dark brown, sides of scutum brownish, both central part of pronotum and scutum yellow, scutellum yellow (Fig. 19). Base of forewing reddish-brown, apical part transparent, brown stripe along apical veins, third apical cell with distinct dark spot (Figs. 19, 20).
Male abdominal apodemes slender, reaching midlength of fifth sternite ( Fig. 66 View FIGURES 66 – 73 ).
Male genital capsule elongated, pygophore side rounded, with short, sclerotized process internally and postero-laterally, with four long macrosetae postero-dorsally and several small setae posteriorlly ( Fig. 69 View FIGURES 66 – 73 ). Subgenital plate broad basally, slightly narrowed distally, with apex sclerotized and narrow, three long macrosetae along outer margin and a few microsetae subapically, and with several microsetae and two small setae apically ( Figs. 67, 68 View FIGURES 66 – 73 ). Paramere with long, tapering, curved and hooklike apical part and with row of thin setae subapically ( Fig. 71 View FIGURES 66 – 73 ). Connective short, V-shaped ( Fig. 70 View FIGURES 66 – 73 ). Aedeagus with preatrium long and dorsal apodeme developed; shaft tubular, with teeth on dorsal margin of midlength and pair of minute subapical needlelike processes on ventral margin; gonopore subapical ( Figs. 72, 73 View FIGURES 66 – 73 ).
Body length. 2.88 mm (including wing).
Material examined. Holotype, 13, China: Sichuan Prov., Mt. Emeishan, 30 Oct. 1999, coll. I. Dworakowska.
Distribution. China (Sichuan)
Remarks. The new species resembles Z. nadobna from Sikkim, but differs in having a longer sclerotized process on the lateroventral margin of the pygofer than in Z. nadobna ( Fig. 69 View FIGURES 66 – 73 ), a hooklike paramere apex (acute in Z. nadobna ) ( Fig. 71 View FIGURES 66 – 73 ), and by the aedeagus with teeth on the dorsal margin of the midlength and subapical needlelike processes that are absent in Z. nadobna ( Figs. 72, 73 View FIGURES 66 – 73 ).
Etymology. The new species epithet is based on the province of the type locality.
