Xenoglossa pomonae (Cockerell, 1915)

[ Holotype: CASC; ♀ Laguna , Los Angeles Co., California, USA]

Xenoglossa pomonae is a highly abundant species in California, USA, with a flight season ranging from April to October. We reviewed one male from Ensenada collected in April 1952 ( CASC). This species has an affinity for yellow composites in the family Asteracae . See fig. 116 .
