Xanthopimpla pleuroschista Townes & Chiu, 1970 View in CoL . Mem. Amer. Ent. Inst, 14: 232. Holotype: ♀, India: Khasi Hill (GPTA).
Diagnosis. Area superomedia closed by strong carinae, 0.9x as long as wide; basal transverse carina absent; pleural area of propodeum divided by posterior transverse carina; ovipositor sheath 0.3x hind tibia.
Distribution. Previously recorded from India ( Yu et al. 2005), this is the first record of X. pleuroschista from Vietnam (Fig. 21).
Material examined: Vinh Phuc, Tam Dao NP: 1♀ ( OMNH), 900–1200 m a.s.l, 08.v.1998, R. Matsumoto leg.
