Material examined. Holotype: ♂, mixed forest (36°49 ʹ 38 ʺ N, 129°06 ʹ 00 ʺ E, alt. 713 m), Subi-myeon, Yeongyang-gun , Gyeongsangbuk-do, 24 May 2015, B. K. Seo. GoogleMaps
Etymology. The specific name is a Latin noun “ supercilia ” (eyebrow), referring to a pair of bristle tufts above AER.
Diagnosis. The new species is very similar to W. chikunii Saito and Ono, 2001 in the general appearance and the structure of male palp, but different from the latter by the shapes of retrolateral tibial apophysis, distal suprategular apophysis, head elevation, the interval of AER, and the curvature of AER in frontal view ( Fig. 11 View Fig J-N).
Description. Male (holotype). Total length 1.72. Habitus as in Figure 5R View Fig . Carapace reddish brown, 0.84 long, 0.60 wide; cephalon elevated with a pair of bristle tufts above AER and a pair of ocular sulci behind PLE ( Fig. 11 View Fig J-K). Clypeus height 2.3 times of diameter of AME. AER 0.25, PER 0.27. AER recurved and PER procurved in dorsal view. AME 0.05, ALE 0.08, PME 0.07, PLE 0.07, AME-AME 0.01, AME-ALE 0.01, PME-PME 0.03, PME-PLE 0.04, AME-PME 0.09, and ALE-PLE contiguous. Median ocular quadrangle, height>posterior side>anterior side (16:13:9). Chelicera with four teeth on each margin. Sternum 0.57 long, 0.48 wide. Labium 0.16 wide. Leg measurements: I 2.19 (0.64, 0.23, 0.53, 0.43, 0.36), II 2.09 (0.61, 0.23, 0.51, 0.39, 0.35), III 1.82 (0.51, 0.21, 0.39, 0.38, 0.33), IV 2.40 (0.65, 0.23, 0.64, 0.52, 0.36). Leg I/c 2.61. Fem. I/c 0.76. Tib. I/c 0.63. Met. I/c 0.51. Pat. I + tib. I/c 0.90. Met. I/tar. I 1.19. Met. IV/tar. IV 1.44. Chaetotaxy 2-2-1-1. Tm 1 0.36, Tm IV present. Abdomen oval and dark brown, and 0.98 long, 0.70 wide. Habitat. Mixed forest.
