Type material examined. 1 ex. Holotype (NHM): card-mounted, “4068” [in Broun’s hand], “New Zealand. [red underline] \ Broun Coll. \ Brit. Mus. \ 1922-482.”, “Hollyford. \ 18.2.1914.” [in Broun’s hand], “ Veronatus \ versicolor .” [in Broun’s hand].

Remarks. Broun (1921) studied a single specimen collected by T. Hall on 18.02.1914 at Hollyford.
