Type locality. Mount Hutt.

Broun number: 3745.

Type material examined. 1 ex. Holotype (NHM): card-mounted, “3745.” [in Broun’s hand], “New Zealand. [red underline] \ Broun Coll. \ Brit. Mus. \ 1922-482.”, “Mt. Hutt. \ 28.12.1912.” [in Broun’s hand], “ Veronatus \ fulgidulus .” [in Broun’s hand].

Remarks. Broun (1915) examined a single specimen collected from Mount Hutt by T. Hall, together with Veronatus tarsalis Broun.
