Diagnosis. Parafacial with 1 elliptic brown spot on apical inner margin. Wing ( Fig. 72 View FIGURES 71–75 ) with hyaline spots forming 2 hyaline bands along r-m and R 2+3 extending to posterior margin. Male genitalia ( Figs. 76–80 View FIGURES 76–80 ): aedeagus slender, consist of 1 thin V-shaped ventral sclerite and a pair of slender ventral sclerites.

Description. MALE. Body length 2.0 mm, wing length 2.5 mm. FEMALE. Unknown.

Head ( Fig. 71 View FIGURES 71–75 ) pale yellow. Face yellow except brown on lateral margin and ventral margin, with 1 brown concave near ventral margin; parafacial with 1 elliptic brown spot on apical inner margin. Frons brownish yellow, with grayish white pruinescence, wider than long, trapeziform, anterior margin narrower than the posterior, with a pair of narrow brown median bands extending to ocellar triangle; ocellar triangle blackish gray, oc developed, longer than anterior or; anterior or longer than half length of posterior or; oc each with 1 blackish brown basal spot. Gena about 1/5 eye height. Occiput with gray pruinescence. Antenna brownish yellow; 1 st flagellomere yellow basally, nearly 1.4 times longer than high; arista brown except yellow basally, pubescent. 1 brown triangular spot present between antenna and eye. Proboscis pale yellow, with yellow and black hairs; palpus brown with black hairs.

Thorax ( Fig. 74 View FIGURES 71–75 ) brown. Mesonotum with 1 brown median band extending from anterior margin to anterior of 3st post-sutural dc, postpronotum with posterior margin surrounded by 1 thin brown band; 1+3 dc, 1st post-sutural dc near transverse scutal suture, presutural dc closer to anterior margin than presutural acr; 1+3 acr, in 3 rows; without prescutellar acr; dc and acr each with 1 brown basal spot. Anepisternum with 3 anpest (the strongest one near posterior margin) and 3–4 short hairs; 2 kepst. Leg yellow, femora brown except pale yellow at apex, apical tarsi brown. Fore femur with 6 pd, 3 pv; fore tibia with 1 long dp, 1 short apv. Mid femur with 5 a, 1 app; mid tibia with 1 strong dp, 1 apv. Hind femur with 2 apv on apical half, 1 preapical ad; hind tibia with 1 dp, 1 short apv. Wing ( Fig. 72 View FIGURES 71–75 ) with anterior margin brown, along posterior margin grayish white gradually, with circular or irregular hyaline spots, hyaline spots forming 2 hyaline bands along r-m and R 2+3 extending to posterior margin, 1 brown band along dm-cu extending from anterior margin to posterior margin between the two hyaline bands, the brown band with 2 hyaline spots on r 1 cell and with 2 thin hyaline spots on both sides of dm-cu, hyaline apical spots present between R 4+5 and M 1+2; subcostal cell brown; costa with 2nd, 3rd and 4th sections in proportion of 7.5: 2.7: 1.8; r-m beind middle of discal cell; ultimate and penultimate sections of M 1 in proportion of 6.0: 2.4; ultimate section of CuA 1 about 1/5 of penultimate section. Halter pale yellow except knob black brown.

Abdomen ( Fig. 75 View FIGURES 71–75 ) brown, except tergites 5–6 and posterior of tergite 4 blackish brown. Tergites 2–6 each with 4–5 pairs of posterior margin setae. Male genitalia ( Figs. 76–80 View FIGURES 76–80 ): syntergosternite narrow in anterior view. Epandrium broad apically but narrow basally, ventral apical angle with setae. Without surstylus. Hypandrium U-shaped without inner process. Gonopod tubiform, strong apically, with 4–5 long hairs on apical half. Aedeagus slender, consist of 1 thin V-shaped ventral sclerite and a pair of slender ventral sclerites, without distinct apical concave. Aedeagal apodeme tubiform, nearly as long as 1/4 length of aedeagus.

Type material. Holotype ( HAUST): 1 ♂, CHINA, Guangxi: Fangchenggang City, Fulong Town , 2012. V. 16, Yuqiang Xi.

Distribution. China (Guangxi).

Remarks. The new species is very similar to Trypetisoma (Trypaneoides) fenestrata (de Meijere, 1910) from the Oriental region and the Palaearctic region in body color and band, but the latter r 1 cell with 3 hyaline spots; abdomen blackish brown; syntergosternite incomplete circular, breakage connected by membrane, epandrium slender. The new species r 1 cell with 4 hyaline spots; abdomen brown except blackish brown on tergites 5–6 and anterior of tergite 4; syntergosternite circular; epandrium wide apically and broad basally.

Etymology. Latin, xii , referring to Yuqiang Xi who is the new species type specimen’s gatherer.
