5. Truljalia meloda Gorochov, 1992
Truljalia meloda Gorochov, 1992: 12 ; Gorochov, 2002 [2001]: 326.
Truljalia prolongata Wang & Woo, 1992: 240 ; Gorochov, 2002 [2001]: 323, 326; Xie & Liu 2004: 114. syn. nov.
Type material examined. Holotype 3 of Truljalia meloda , VIETNAM, prov. Hoa Binh, distr. Dabak, Tu Ly, 200m, 16–23.X.1990, coll. A. Gorochov ( ZIAS). Holotype 3 of Truljalia prolongata , CHINA, Hainan, Jianfengling, Tianchi, 14.XI.1982, coll. Zhen-Yao Chen ( CAAS). Paratypes of Truljalia prolongata : 13, Guangxi, Longzhou, Nonggang, 19.V.1985, coll. Wei-Hua Li & Jing-Hong Zhang ( CAAS); 13, Hainan, Jianfengling, 4.IV.1981, coll. Yuan-Fu Liu ( CAAS); 13, Yunnan, Funing, Bo’ai, at Lights, 3.III.1979, coll. Yong-Tao Zhou ( CAAS).
Other material examined. 13, CHINA, Hainan, Ledong, Jianfengling, 17–21.V.2007, coll. Yi-Bin Ba & Jun- Tong Lang ( HBUM).
Remarks. Gorochov (2002) noted that T. meloda Gorochov and T. prolongata Wang & Woo were different in the size of endophallus of genitalia and anal plate, according to the literatures but not the specimens. In this study, we examined and compared their type specimens, but did not find any difference in genitalia and anal plate between them. Both were published in 1992, T. meloda was published in August ( Asanovich, Grozdilova & Kerzhner, 2006) and T. prolongata in December. Thus, T. meloda should be the valid name for this species, and T. prolongata is a junior synonym of the latter, according to the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature ( ICZN, 1999: Article 21.1.3).
Distribution. China (Guangxi, Hainan, Yunnan); Vietnam; Cambodia.
