Anterhynchium obscurum Gusenleitner 2007: 962 View in CoL View Cited Treatment , fig. 9, ♁—“ Zambia NW, 40 km SSW Solwezi ” (holotype OLML).
Typical material examined. Holotype of Anterhynchium obscurum : “ ZAMBIA NW. / 40 km SSW Solwezi / 8.12.2004, Snížek, Tichý lgt. // Anterhynchium / obscurum nov. spec. / J.Gusenleitner,dt.2007 / Holotypus // Biologiezentrum Linz / Austria (LI) / ex Coll. J. & M. Halada / Eingang 2005” ( OLML).
Distribution. Zambia ( Carpenter et al. 2009; Gusenleitner 2007).
Remarks. This species was described as Anterhynchium obscurum by Gusenleitner (2007), but the examination of the holotype showed that this species should be transferred to genus Tricarinodynerus . The characters that justify this new placement are the presence of three tubercles on the metanotum and the general appearance. This species does not show the typical mesoscutal carinae of the genus Tricarinodynerus , but as shown by Gusenleitner (2010) this is not a constant character.
Pictures of the holotype are available at ZOBODAT (2022b).
