Etymology. It refers to the two processes of the apex of the male subgenital plate.

Type material. Holotype. Male. Colombia, Risaralda, Santa Rosa de Cabal, Termales (=Thermal). 4.841 88, -75.552104. 1700 m. 3 October 2012. L. Zubieta. ( CAUD).
