Tesolasomus Johnson, 2021 (in Mathison 2021).
This genus includes species formerly placed in Ctenicera . Specimens of Tesolasomus morulus (LeConte) from Montana were cited by LeConte (1866) as having been described in 1863 under the name Corymbites brunnipes Bland. Species have also been placed in the genus Pristilophus ( Tarnawski 1995, treated as a subgenus of Selatosomus ; elevated to genus in Schimmel et al. 2015). This genus requires revision and comparison to Eurasian species currently in Pristilophus .
