Current Name: Teratoleptura mirabilis (Aurivillius, 1902) .

Strangalia (Pygostrangalia) gigantia Chiang, 1981 . Synonymized by N. Ohbayashi, 2008: 422.

Type locality: China, Guangxi, Wuming, Mt. Damingshan.

Gender: male.

Date collected: 1963.V.21.

Collector: Ji-Kun YANG (=C.K. Yang, in the original description).

Paratypes: According to the original description in Chinese, there are one allotype and one paratype, 1 female, Meng-Xiao JIN leg. (Guangxi Agricultural College ); 1 male, Hainan, Jianfengling , Tianchi , 1975.V.5, Li-Zhong HUA leg. ( SYSU) .

Remarks: According to the original description, the holotype is supposed to be deposited in the Beijing Agricultural University (= CAU). It is currently in the SWU.

However, there is only one paratype from hainan in the English description
