Diagnosis. The species can be distinguished from congeners by features of the male genitalia: the anellus lobe bears a robust, horn-like apical bristle, and the juxta has a digitate projection at its middle.
Description. Adult ( Fig. 64 View FIGURES 62–65 ). Head: Silvery white. Labial palpus white and pale brown mixed; palpomere III as long as II, slightly suffused with fuscous. Antenna with scape silvery white; flagellum dark fuscous except basal 1/3 of dorsal surface mixed with silvery white, male cilia twice as long as flagellomere diameter.
Thorax: Dorsum and tegula silvery white. Wingspan 7.5 mm; forewing grey except basal 1/3 light grey, anterior edge of costa black in basal half; a roundish orange patch in distal 1/4 of wing, between costa and posterior 1/3, its outer margin almost reaching apical spot; between former patch and apical spot a narrow dirty white line, extending along termen; termen slightly tinged with black; fringe scales grey. Hindwing grey except apex black and near apex dirty white; fringe scales grey. Legs dirty white and pale brown mixed; hind tibia tinged with dark grey dorsally; mid- and hind tarsi strongly mixed with dark grey.
Abdomen ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 7–14 ): Male coremata about half the length of sternum VIII; sternum VIII mitre-shaped: slightly constricted after base, broadly convex bilaterally, then tapered to posterior apex. Male genitalia ( Fig. 83 View FIGURES 78–83 ) with uncus small, distal margin deeply concave at middle, a sharp projection arising from cleft; two longitudinal ridges laterally, a row of teeth along each ridge. Gnathos hook moderately long, pointed apically. Tegumen approximately 5 times as long as uncus; a set of papilliform tubercles at anterior 1/3, each tubercle bearing a long single hair ( Fig. 44 View FIGURES 26–45 ). Valva straight, ventral margin broadly convex before middle, slightly broadened apically. Anellus lobe large oval, 2/5 length of valva; apical bristle strongly developed, horn-shaped, as long as anellus lobe, slightly incurved. Juxta with a finger-shaped projection at middle of inner margin. Vinculum with posterior margin convex medially. Saccus convex. Aedeagus with basal 1/5 dilated; distal 4/5 uniformly elongate, slightly sinuous, rounded apically.
Female unknown.
Distribution. China (Hainan).
Etymology. New species is named in memory of professor Zhemin Zheng (1932–2021), a famous Chinese entomologist.
