Description
The fragmentary specimen PIMUZ 39516 has a conch diameter of 80 mm ( Fig. 8A View Fig ). It shows the coronate, strongly depressed whorl profile (ww/wh ~1.80), the flat area of flank and umbilical wall, the narrowly rounded ventrolateral shoulder and the flattened but convex venter ( Fig. 8B View Fig ). The ventrolateral shoulder is decorated with about 10 rounded tubercles on half a volution. The internal suture line possesses a deep, V-shaped rectangular internal lobe ( Fig. 8C View Fig ) caused by an inflexion of the strongly concave septum.
