Telopes dispar REDTENBACHER in RUSSEGGER, 1843 (type species)
D e s c r i p t i o n: Body length 3-5 mm, very broad, antennae with 11 antennomeres with three antennomered club; male terminal antennomere 5-9x longer than antennomeres IX-X combined; female terminal antennomere small and oval. Labrum semirotundatum. Mandibles apically bidentate. Mentum square-shaped. Labium membranous, apex emarginated, with paraglossis. Palpomeres long and narrow. Pronotum transverse, convex, lateral part with long setae. Abdomen with five visible ventrites. Legs: tibiae short, robust with numerous short spines, posterior tarsi as long as tibia.
