Abdominal segment III with relatively well-expressed paired submedian tubercles ( Fig. 20 View FIGURES 18 – 24. 18 – 21 ); and with posterolateral projections variably, but very weakly expressed on lateral margins ( Figs 7, 8 View FIGURES 1 – 12 ), or apparently absent. Ventral lobe of tergalius II with one wide side process on costal branch ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 1 – 12 ); ventral lobe of tergalius III with 2 side processes on costal branch and 3 side processes on anal branch ( Fig 10 View FIGURES 1 – 12 ); ventral lobe of tergalius IV with 2 side processes on costal branch and 2 side processes on anal branch ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 1 – 12 ).
Alate stages. Hind wing with costal projection directed anteriorly ( Fig. 26 View FIGURES 25 – 29. 25, 26 ). Black hypodermal maculae occupy lesser part of abdomen: terga I–V with few black maculae, with narrow black line medially; median area of terga VI–IX with few black maculae, tinged with rose; median area of sterna without black maculae; process of styliger medially light, with black lateral margins ( Fig. 19 View FIGURES 18 – 24. 18 – 21 ). Process of styliger narrower than penis ( Fig. 25 View FIGURES 25 – 29. 25, 26 ; Wang et al. 1995: Fig. 8 View FIGURES 1 – 12 ).
