Stricticomus rufithorax (LaFerté-Sénectère, 1849)

= Anthicus transcaspicus VAR. subnotata PIC, 1910 syn. nov.

Synonymy. After additional study of the ♀ holotype of Anthicus transcaspicus var. subnotata (Araxes Rost [handwritten] / 10 [handwritten] / type [handwritten] / TYPE [printed, label red] / transcaspicus v. subnotatus Pic [handwritten]) we came to the conclusion that this taxon is conspecific with S. rufithorax and not S. transcascipcus as is stated in the original description and as cited by other authors.
