Sticholotis pictipennis Lewis, 1896: 32 ; Sasaji 1971: 74; Miyatake 1994: 261 (Cat.).
Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. punctum , but it can be distinguished from the latter by the absence of anterior elytral spots ( Lewis 1896; Sasaji 1971).
Specimens examined. None.
Distribution. China?; Japan.
Remark. A holotype and a cotype from Kyushu, Japan are deposited in the collection of the Natural History Museum, London. Miyatake (1994) recorded this species from China without detailed information.
