Published data. Iran ( Jacobson 1915, Persia, checklist; Kejval 2002b, general distribution; Uhmann et al. 2005, general distribution; Сhandler et al. 2008, checklist; Nardi 2008, general distribution); Fars ( Marseul 1879).
New records. IRAN, Fars Province Sepidan-Komehr rd: 3km NW Sepidan, 2510m N 30°17’31” E 051°58’18” 0 8.05.2007, lg. Frisch & Serri (2 specimens MNHB).
Chorotype. Turano-European (1.10 TUE) westwards to Greece and eastwards to Afghanistan.

Published data. Iran (Uhmann et al. 2005, general distribution; Сhandler et al. 2008, checklist).
Comments. No exact locality information from Iran is available for this species. Occurrence of this species in Iran is doubtful and needs further confirmation.
