Type material. Holotype. BRAZIL: Pará, Parauapeba, Flona Carajás (Cave N 5S-11), 6°6’18”S– 50°7’47”W, 14– 23.X.2009, R. Andrade & I. Cizauskas leg., 1M ( IBSP 174290 View Materials ) GoogleMaps . Etymology. The species name is a noun in apposition taken from the type locality.
Diagnosis. Males are similar to Stemmops servus Levi, 1964 (see Levi 1964, fig. 9) by the embolus coiled, long and filiform, and presence of embolic basal process ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 5–9 ), but differ from this species by the embolus longer, with approximately five loops, and by the embolus base smaller ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 5–9 ). Females resemble Stemmops servus Levi, 1964 (see Levi 1964, fig. 12) by the presence of two spermathecae, but differ by the shape of spermathecae oval, and spermathecae less separated from each other, in ventral view ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 5–9 ), and ventral epigynum with two copulatory openings ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 5–9 ).
