Stegana (Oxyphortica) laohlie Zhang and Chen , sp. nov.
( Figures 3 View Figure 3 (a), 4(e), 6(a) and 12).
Diagnosis
This species is related to S. (O.) dainuo sp. nov. in the shape of aedeagus in ventral view, but can be distinguished by having the aedeagus strongly expanded outward on both sides of peristome, strongly protruded dorsally ( Figure 12 View Figure 12 (c, d)).
Description
Clypeus dark brown. Palpus yellow. Mesoscutum brown to dark brown medially, yellow laterally, with one pair of thin, brown longitudinal stripes sublaterally ( Figure 4 View Figure 4 (e)). Scutellum brown, yellow along margin. Katepisternum yellow, sometimes slightly brownish anteriorly. Wing grey, greyish brown anterodistally, posterior crossvein and neighbouring longitudinal veins darkened ( Figure 3 View Figure 3 (a)). Abdominal tergites: 1st yellow; 2nd and 3rd yellow medially, dark brown laterally, anteromedially with one dark brown patch on 2nd; 4th and 5th tergites, yellow on anterior margins, with broad dark brown, medially and laterally protruded bands on posterior margins; 6th tergite narrowly yellow medially, dark brown laterally ( Figure 6 View Figure 6 (a)). Male terminalia: Epandrium nearly rectangular on posterolateral corners, with dense pubescence and setae ( Figure 12 View Figure 12 (a)). Cercus lacking pubescence ( Figure 12 View Figure 12 (a)). Surstylus small, roughly to lobe-shaped, with several setae distally ( Figure 12 View Figure 12 (a, b)). Parameres absent ( Figure 12 View Figure 12 (c, d)). Aedeagus mostly sclerotized except peristome ( Figure 12 View Figure 12 (c, d)). Gonopods broadened to hood-shaped ( Figure 12 View Figure 12 (e)).
