Composition in America. Distribution in America. Mexico, Cuba, Ecuador and Brazil.
Diagnosis. Promargin of chelicerae with a series of six to seven teeth reaching the lamina ( Figs 4 View FIGURES 2 – 5 , 12 View FIGURES 9 – 12 ). Tracheal spiracle between the epigastric fold and spinnerets. Carapace slightly longer than wide ( Fig. 1). Clypeus almost vertical, short (1 to 3 x PME); tip of labium notched. Legs short ( Fig. 1). Male palpal tibia without apophysis; palpal cymbium without prolateral extension; male palpal bulb spherical or oval, embolus with associated sclerites ( Figs 3 View FIGURES 2 – 5 , 8 View FIGURES 6 – 8 , 9 View FIGURES 9 – 12 ).
