Key to species of Soikiella

Keys to the known species of Soikiella Nowicki in the world were provided by Velten & Pinto (1990) and He et al. (2009). The latter key, which does not take into account that provided by Velten & Pinto (1990), is based on characters that are very difficult to evaluate, such as basal infuscation of the fore wing, arrangement of setae on the fore wing, and lengths of the mesophragma and ovipositor. The following key, except for S. asiatica , which remains a questionable species near S. mongibelli , is based on examination of the original material.
