District Šala : Maja Eršalit [Maja e Ershellit, Prokletije Mts.] bei Abata; zwischen Felsblöcken [between blocks of rocks], 16 June 1916, ca. 1700 m, Dörfler 114 (WU-0071606!). Protologue information:—In declivibus rupestribus alpinis montis Paštrik leg. J. Dörfler; M. Eršalit supra Abata, in rupestribus, 1700 m, leg. J. Dörfler; Distr. Klemeni. Ad rupes alpinas supra Fuša Rudnices, ca 1800 m, leg. J. Dörfler.

Nomenclature:— The specimen selected here as lectotype fits the protologue and is the best preserved. Taxonomy:— Sesleria gigantea is a synonym of S. wettsteinii ( Valdés & Scholz 2009, Clayton et al. 2016).
