69. Seminavis delicatula Wachnicka & Gaiser Fig. 81 View FIGURES 80–101

References: Wachnicka & Gaiser (2007), p. 440, figs 219 and 220.

Samples: Moen2_ Halimeda View in CoL

Dimensions: 36.7–45.5 μm long, 6.6 μm wide.

Comments: This species is characterized by its delicate structure and extremely fine striae, 28–33 in 10 μm, which are not always resolvable in LM. When they are not, as here, we cannot be sure of the identity, particularly in this genus which has received no study in the Pacific to date. It is likely that there are similar species resolvable only with SEM.
