Subfamily Scytodinae Blackwall, 1864
Type genus. Scytodes Latreille, 1804 View in CoL
Diagnosis. Males of Scytodinae differ from those of Scyloxinae subfam. n. by the palp with bulb inserted subapically and cymbium with apical digitiform extension bearing blunt macrosetae ( Figs 3G–H View FIGURE 3 , 5A–D View FIGURE 5 , 8F–G View FIGURE 8 , 11G–J View FIGURE 11 ) (vs. bulb inserted apically on cymbium, lacking digitiform extension and blunt macrosetae in Scyloxinae subfam. n.). Females differ by the presence of pair of epigynal postepigastric fovea and positioning ridges ( Figs 3I View FIGURE 3 , 6A View FIGURE 6 , 9A–B View FIGURE 9 , 12A View FIGURE 12 ) (vs. absent in Scyloxinae subfam. n.).
