Type: — [ TURKEY. B 8 Muş] in arenosis ad fontes pagi Goschkar prov. Musch Armeniae Turcicae, 1525 m, [19 August 1859,] Kotschy 346 (holotype G, isotype K!).
Specimens seen: — TURKEY. Erzurum: Palandöken Mountain , streamsides, 2100 m, 20 June 2014, M. E.Uzunhisarcıklı 2574 ( GAZI) ; ibid., 2200 m, 20 July 2014, M. E. Uzunhisarcıklı 2624 ( GAZI) .
Flowering time:— June–August.
Habitat:— Streamsides. 1525‒2200 m elevation.
Distribution:— Irano-Turanian element.
