Saccharodite singularis Yang & Wu, 1993: 203–205 View in CoL , Fig. 99
Etymology. As stated by the authors, the species name is a Latin adjective ( singularis , -is, -e = alone).
Type material. Holotype ♂ (not examined), TAIWAN, Lienhuachih , Nantou Hsien, 21.VIII.1986, S.C. Tsaur ( NCHU).
Distribution. Taiwan.
Diagnosis. The original description and illustrations suggest that Saccharodite singularis is closely related to Sa. basipunctulata (Melichar) which is wide-spread south of Taiwan. However, the junction of vertex and frons is not angulated in profile and the forewings appear to lack any traces of infuscation as well any dark spots on the base of Sc+R.
