Ĝtz, 1969. Mitt. Zool. Mus. Berlin, 45: 157 ( Metrioptera fedtschenkoi vasilii ); type locality and depository: Romania, Negresti , Moldau (SMTD, Dresden) .
Remarks. Ĝtz (1969) described this taxon from Romania as subspecies of R. fedtschenkoi , and considered it related to pylnovi , ambitiosa , minor and azami . Examination of the drawings of the titillators and the female subgenital plate of this taxon by Ĝtz (1969) shows that it is undoubtedly related to R. roeselii , but the female subgenital plate is similar to that of R. ambitiosa .
Distribution. Romania; according to Ĝtz (1969) in Bulgaria a mixed population roeselii-vasilii may be found.
