Host and locality in Australia: Domestic fowl, Gallus gallus , Western Australia ( Baron Hay 1948); same host, Gawler SA, Perth WA ( Domrow 1992).

Current name of host: Red Junglefowl (domestic hen), Gallus gallus ( Linnaeus, 1758) ( Galliformes : Phasianidae ).
