Distribution. Palaearctic; introduced in North America, South Africa and Australia ( Caldara 2013a; Caldara & Fogato 2013).
Material examined. 40 specimens ( KUMN, SIZK, ZMUN) including: Mykolaiv Prov. : 8 spec. ( SIZK) Berezanka Distr. , Tiligul Regional Landscape Park, Tashyne env., V. Yu. Nazarenko leg., 12.vi.2010 .
Biology. Forest edge, grasslands and stony slopes, ruderal habitats. Adults occur in III–VIII ( Lohse & Tischler 1983). On Plantago lanceolata (Plantaginaceae) ( Hoffmann 1958; Smreczyński 1976; Lohse & Tischler 1983; Caldara & Fogato 2013).
