The description of R. sensoriatus , from an unidentified tree in northwest India agrees fully with Eucarrazia elegans , a distinctive, widelydistributed species on Labiatae. The considerable variation in numbers of rhinaria on antennal segments III–V in apterae of this species is probably related to the degree of alatiformity.
