Original data: “ HOLOTYPE ♂: Guyane française, Piste Montagne Tortue ( Belizon ), 31-VIII-2003, PL, P.H. Dalens leg. ( MNHN). 2 paratypes: ♂, Brésil, Mato Grosso, Juína, IV-1985, O. Roppa leg. ( MNRJ); ♀, Brésil, Amazonas, Presidente Figueiredo, est. De Balbina Km 24, 01/ 12-IX-2002, 02°01'05" S, 59°49'60" W ( MNRJ)” ( Bérenger et al. 2007: 284–287) GoogleMaps .

Type locality: Guyane française, Bélizon, Piste de la Montagne Tortue [ French Guiana] .

Current status: Valid species.

Remarks: Only the holotype is preserved in MNHN; the paratypes, deposited in Museu Nacional do Rio do Janeiro (MNRJ), Brazil, were probably destroyed during the fire on September 2nd, 2018.
