Remarks. This taxonomic name was selected from the described species with two triangular pseudo-concentric shells. Our sample did not include the Pylodiscus morphotype with latticed cover on both sides of a flat test or with rods from each side of the 1st triangular pseudo-concentric shell. The former is named Pylodiscus triangularis Haeckel, 1887 , whereas the latter is Pylodiscus dodecantha ( Haeckel, 1887) . These two species are regarded as a different species from Pylodiscus spinulosus ( Chen and Tan, 1989) .
