Holotype. ♂. Corumba , Matt Grosso ( Brazil) ( DEIG).
Paratypes. Three specimens from the same locality as the holotype ( DEIG) .

Natural History. No information is available.
Distribution. Known only from Brazil ( Fig. 126).
Etymology. The specific epithet, corumba , constitutes a noun in apposition and refers to the type locality.
Pujoliclerus flavolimbatus ( Spinola, 1844) ( Figs. 47 View Figs , 54 View Figs , 80 View Figs , 97 View Figs , 123 View Fig )
Pelonium flavolimbatum Spinola, 1844: 354 . Holotype, ♂ (MIZT). Type locality: Brazil. Schenkling 1910: 128 ( Galeruclerus ); Corporaal 1950: 280 ( Cregya View in CoL ); Ekis 1975: 53.
Pelonium flavomarginatum Chevrolat, 1874: 327 . New synonymy. Chevrolat, 1876: 7; Schenkling 1906: 315 ( Pelonium View in CoL ); Corporaal 1950: 280 ( Cregya View in CoL ). The characteristics on which this nominal species is based fall within the range of variation of P. flavolimbatus . The primary types of both nominal species were examined.
Diagnosis. The brown coloration of the
10 th antennomere will distinguish specimens of this species from superficially similar specimens of P. ovatus .
Description. Size: Length 4.5 mm; width 1.8 mm. Form: As in Fig. 97 View Figs . Integument: Head mostly black, clypeus and venter yellow, antenna brown; pronotum black on disc and lower sides, remainder yellow; elytral disc brown, epipleural margin yellow; legs mostly yellow, profemora and tibiae infuscated; pterothorax, and abdomen black. Head: Eyes as wide as frons (14:14); funicular antennomeres slightly expanded, 6 th antennomere triangular ( Fig. 47 View Figs ). Thorax: Pronotum transverse (41:35), lateral tubercle very prominent ( Fig. 54 View Figs ); asetiferous punctures end at about distal elytral 4/5, epipleural fold gradually diminishes to elytral apex. Abdomen: Tegminal lobes and phallic apex as in Fig. 80 View Figs .
Variation. Size: Length 4.0 –5.0 mm; width 1.3-1.8 mm. The pronotum may be mostly black or mostly yellow. The epipleural margin may be pale or brown. The elytra may be mostly yellow or entirely brown.
Natural History. Specimens were collected during October, November, and December, at altitudes ranging from 300 to 500 m.
Distribution. Known from Brazil and Argentina ( Fig. 123 View Fig ). In addition to the type specimen, I examined specimens from: BRAZIL: Santa Catarina: Nova Teutonia, XI-1974, F. Plaumann; idem, XII-1938. ARGENTINA: Misiones: Santa Maria, X-1946, M. J. Viana. Specimens are deposited in MLPA, NHRS, and WOPC.
Notes. The above description is based on a homotype housed in WOPC.
