Type:— Holotype in HH (40624). Description:—See Harada (1977b) and Hiratsuka et al. (1992). Hosts and distribution in Japan:—0, I on Aster glehnii var. hondoensis Kitam. (host by inoculations), A. microcephalus var. ovatus (Fr. & Sav.) Soejima & Mot.Ito (= A. ageratoides var. ovatus (Fr. & Sav.) Nakai ) (Hon), Kalimeris pinnatifida (Maxim.) Kitam. (host by inoculation); II, III on Carex miyabei Franch. [= C. fedia var. miyabei (Franch.) T.Koyama , C. wallichiana var. miyabei (Franch.) Kük. ] (Hon) ( Harada 1977b, Hiratsuka et al. 1992). Notes:—Life cycle of this species was proved through host inoculations by Harada (1977b).
