Psilopa nigricornis Hendel, 1931: 69 View in CoL . Holotype, female. Egypt (S. E. Desert: Bir Abrag) ( EFC).
Remarks: Identification of this species requires dissection, which is not now permitted in EFC. It is possibly a synonym of P. aequalipes ( Becker, 1907) .
Distribution: PA: Egypt.
Egyptian localities: Eastern Desert : Suez. Gebel Elba: Bir Abrag . Western Desert: Siwa Oasis .
Dates of collection: February to March.
