In these plocamocerans the basal antennomere of the antennal club is most often narrow, rarely broadoval (fig. 153); the pronotum is predominantly piceous; the tripartite humeral macula is well developed; and the female pygidium is broadscutiform. The composite range of the species group extends from Ecuador to Brazil.
