Pimentelia ochracea Laboissière, 1939: 120 –121.

The species was described in the same publication as P. kuanduensis . It was based on a single male from Kuvango, Angola. The only diagnostic character Laboissière mentioned is the larger punctuation of the pronotum. The material should be in the Museum in Coimbra, Portugal. During a visit of that collection in March 2010 the type specimen could not be found. Since the description of both species indicate a high overlap external characters and the differentiation based on a relatively weak structure, the species most likely belong to Pimentelia .
