Notes:— Boissier (1846: 74) described Ph. persicum var. latifolium View in CoL from this locality: “In Persia australi loco non notato Kotschy No. 904”. Unfortunately, the original material kept in G-BOIS was lost. Therefore, we chose as the lectotype the specimen G00300641 that morphologically agreed with the protologue.
