Distribution. BRAZIL (Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, S„o Paulo, and Santa Catarina). Here we recorded it for the RPPN Sanctuary of Caraça.

Material examined. BRAZIL, Minas Gerais, Catas Altas , RPPN Sanctuary of Caraça, Trilha Banho do Belchior , 20°6’51.96”S 43°29’34.44”W, 1271 m, female, Malaise, 18-23.xi.2022, Monné, M.L. leg. ( MNRJ-ENT7-47244 ) GoogleMaps .

Diagnosis. This species is recognized by the following combination of characters: apex of antennomeres IV with tuft of setae on inner margin; sides of prothorax with conical tubercle; mesosternal process without tubercles; elytra with two tubercles, one on anterior center and another on the posterior fifth ( Galileo & Martins 1998).
